Dr Mittal has a stellar academic background, and has received many awards and accolades throughout his academic years. He is a gold medalist and has received his medical education from M L B Medical Colege, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. Dr Mittal then pursued DNB (General Surgery), and received Best PG Student Award from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. Afterwards, he pursued Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from P D Hinduja Hospital &Medical Research Centre, Mumbai.
